Thanks for stopping by. I'm Burnie Haney, Director for Division 124.
I thought I'd better take a few lines and tell everyone a little about
myself. I've lived in Jefferson County since March 1986. I retired from
Fort Drum in November 2004 and I'm loving it and toning it down every
day as I live chapter two of my life.    I also wanted to start a local
tournament trail that Soldiers and civilians can fish without having to pay an
arm and leg to do it and one that fishes waters in and around Watertown, NY.
So I can think of nothing better than serving as a Director for the American
Bass Anglers, Inc. "American Fishing Tour" based out of Athens, Alabama.

Formally known as the Military Bass Anglers, the ABA is exactly the kind of
trial I think most working folks are looking for. Low entry fees, close to home
events and if you bring a boat then you use your boat.   To make this division
work I have a couple trusted agents on the team.

Our Assistant Director is Glen Marcum from Carthage, NY and the real sanity
of the crew comes in the form of my wife Lori and yes the girl knows how to
fish. The first tournament she ever entered she won as a non-boater with a
14.75 lb. sack on Beverly Lake, Ontario.

If you like bass fishing, even just a little bit, then why not come out and give
Division 124 tournaments a try.    I think you'll like what you find, good people,
great sponsors and even better fishing.
